I guess you could call this my mid summer house since I just got done decorating another summer house. I can t wait to show pictures of that one, but onto the current one For this house I wanted something reminiscent of a little cabin you might find nestled back in the woods on the edge of a lake. The kind of place that fills your days with swimming, sunburned noses, lazy naps, good food and welcomes you home like an old friend every summer. I used The Whitaker Studio from Kukuvaya because of it s small cozy size and warm summer colors. The patio netting screen was taken from a Nordari build and added on. This look is quite different than what I normally do and is full of A LOT of colors and all of the comfortable things P.S. Since I don t really blog, if you want to know where something is from please feel free to leave a comment and I will do my best to get back ASAP. Also, the pictures were taken by Madison Morlim my stupid computer won t render things very well any more and edited by me. Thank you so much Madison a Island in the Sun Weezer a When you re on a golden sea You don t need no memory Just a place to call your own As we drift into the zone On an island in the sun We ll be playing and having fun And it makes me feel so fine I can t control my brain40273176 N02 has added The Lakehouse. at 2012 07 11 09 54 47 and tagged as obf lakehouse hg nor
