The Waldstadion aka Commerzbank Arena is a multi functional stadium that is most of the times used for soccer games. Also there are concerts and other shows. The construction was finished in 2005. It was build for the soccer World Cup in 2006. Today it is the home of Eintracht Frankfurt, the local soccer team which is playing in Germany s first league, the Bundesliga. Until the construction was finished, it was called Waldstadion Forest Stadium of Frankfurt. But with the new construction the Commerzbank bought the rights to give the stadium it s name for 20 years and for 20 million Euros. A lot of people still call it the Waldstadion. I made this HDR out of three shots. I actually don t do a lot of HDRs, since they mostlikely look to unnatural. But somehow I liked this effect with that intensive colors and the dramatic sky here.
