Gastown

Google I took this picture a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to process it for a while but I have been super busy with school and I finally got around to editing it. This was taken while walking around Gastown. I have had this picture edited for a while but the colors just wouldn t look right, I changed up some of my monitor settings and I think that it was just the colors might have been a little off. Also the colors may look a bit oversaturated but this street is actually very colorful. This is an HDR picture made up of 7 different exposures which were taken at 2, 1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. Imported into camera raw to correct the white balance, removed the Chromatic Aberations and vignetting and then exported as Tiffs. 2. Tonemapped with photomatix. 3. I imported into photoshop where I masked out parts of the original exposures to correct ghosting and to make some parts look better. I then used the clone stamp tool and healing brush to remove a garbage can in the foreground. After that I used Topaz denoise and applied some noise reduction with some layer masks. I then added a new layer with a slight Gaussian Blur and set that layer to Overlay which gave it a bit of contrast and glow. I then used topaz adjust to correct the exposure and added some detail. Once that was done I used various curves adjustment layers to add contrast, lighten some spots with layer masks and added some vibrance. I then finished with my watermark. 4. I then imported it into lightroom where I fixed the white balance, adjusted the exposure sliders, reduced the contrast and selectively adjusted some colors with Hue and Saturation slider, some sharpening and finished with a slight vignette.
